Al Baqarah 1

Letter Al Baqarah 1 - 10
Al Baqarah (Cow Girl)
ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤٰﻦِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴْﻢِ
1
ﺍﻟۤﻢّۤ ۚ
alif lām mīm
Alif Lam Mim.
2
ﺫٰﻟِﻚَ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐُ ﻟَﺎ ﺭَﻳْﺐَ ۛ ﻓِﻴْﻪِ ۛ ﻫُﺪًﻯ ﻟِّﻠْﻤُﺘَّﻘِﻴْﻦَۙ
żālikal-kitābu lā raiba fīh, hudal lil-muttaqīn
This Book (Qur'an) has no doubt about it; guidance
for those who are pious,

ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻐَﻴْﺐِ ﻭَﻳُﻘِﻴْﻤُﻮْﻥَ ﺍﻟﺼَّﻠٰﻮﺓَ
ﻭَﻣِﻤَّﺎ ﺭَﺯَﻗْﻨٰﻬُﻢْ ﻳُﻨْﻔِﻘُﻮْﻥَ ۙ
allażīna yu`minụna bil-gaibi wa yuqīmụnaṣ-
ṣalāta wa mimmā razaqnāhum yunfiqụn
Those who believe in the Unseen,and perform prayers,and spend out of what We have provided for them,
4
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ ﺑِﻤَﺎٓ ﺍُﻧْﺰِﻝَ ﺍِﻟَﻴْﻚَ ﻭَﻣَﺎٓ ﺍُﻧْﺰِﻝَ
ﻣِﻦْ ﻗَﺒْﻠِﻚَ ۚ ﻭَﺑِﺎﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮَﺓِ ﻫُﻢْ ﻳُﻮْﻗِﻨُﻮْﻥَۗ
wallażīna yu`minụna bimā unzila ilaika wa
mā unzila ming qablik, wa bil-ākhirati hum
yụqinụn
and those who believe in what has been revealed to you (Muhammad) and (the books) that have been revealed before you, and they are sure of the Hereafter.

ﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﻋَﻠٰﻰ ﻫُﺪًﻯ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺭَّﺑِّﻬِﻢْ ۙ ﻭَﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﻫُﻢُ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﻔْﻠِﺤُﻮْﻥَ
ulā`ika 'alā hudam mir rabbihim wa ulā`ika
humul-mufliḥụn
They are the ones who are guided by their Lord,and they are the lucky ones.
6
ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭْﺍ ﺳَﻮَﺍۤﺀٌ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢْ ﺀَﺍَﻧْﺬَﺭْﺗَﻬُﻢْ ﺍَﻡْ
ﻟَﻢْ ﺗُﻨْﺬِﺭْﻫُﻢْ ﻟَﺎ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮْﻥَ
innallażīna kafarụ sawā`un 'alaihim a
anżartahum am lam tunżir-hum lā yu`minụn
Lo! Those who disbelieve, it is the same for them,whether thou warn them or do not warn them,they will not believe.
7
ﺧَﺘَﻢَ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﻋَﻠٰﻰ ﻗُﻠُﻮْﺑِﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﻋَﻠٰﻰ ﺳَﻤْﻌِﻬِﻢْ ۗ
ﻭَﻋَﻠٰٓﻰ ﺍَﺑْﺼَﺎﺭِﻫِﻢْ ﻏِﺸَﺎﻭَﺓٌ ﻭَّﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏٌ
ﻋَﻈِﻴْﻢٌ
khatamallāhu 'alā qulụbihim wa 'alā sam'ihim,
wa 'alā abṣārihim gisyāwatuw wa lahum
'ażābun 'aẓīm
Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing,their sight has been closed,and they will have a severe punishment.

ﻭَﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻣَﻦْ ﻳَّﻘُﻮْﻝُ ﺍٰﻣَﻨَّﺎ ﺑِﺎﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻭَﺑِﺎﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡِ
ﺍﻟْﺎٰﺧِﺮِ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻫُﻢْ ﺑِﻤُﺆْﻣِﻨِﻴْﻦَۘ
wa minan-nāsi may yaqụlu āmannā billāhi wa
bil-yaumil-ākhiri wa mā hum bimu`minīn
And of mankind are some who say,"We believe in Allah and the Last Day,"when in fact they are not believers.
9
ﻳُﺨٰﺪِﻋُﻮْﻥَ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﺍٰﻣَﻨُﻮْﺍ ۚ ﻭَﻣَﺎ
ﻳَﺨْﺪَﻋُﻮْﻥَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎٓ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻬُﻢْ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻳَﺸْﻌُﺮُﻭْﻥَۗ
yukhādi'ụnallāha wallażīna āmanụ, wa mā
yakhda'ụna illā anfusahum wa mā yasy'urụn
They deceive Allah and those who believe,but they are only deceiving themselves without realizing it.
10
ﻓِﻲْ ﻗُﻠُﻮْﺑِﻬِﻢْ ﻣَّﺮَﺽٌۙ ﻓَﺰَﺍﺩَﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﻣَﺮَﺿًﺎۚ
ﻭَﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏٌ ﺍَﻟِﻴْﻢٌ ۢ ەۙ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻧُﻮْﺍ ﻳَﻜْﺬِﺑُﻮْﻥَ
fī qulụbihim maraḍun fa zādahumullāhu
maraḍā, wa lahum 'ażābun alīmum bimā kānụ
yakżibụn
In their hearts there is a disease,so Allah increases the disease; and they will have a painful chastisement,because they lied.
